The a cappella octet Voces8 is an international award winning vocal ensemble based in London. The singers, from institutions including the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama have been performing together since 2005. The group’s repertoire is extensive, ranging from early 13th century polyphony through to 20th century pop songs. Voces8 also performs music arranged especially for the group by its members.

Aptronym initially worked with Executive Producer Paul Smith in 2005 on the Programme for a concert in aid of the Nottinghamshire Dyslexia Association. Since then, we have collaborated with Paul, brother Barnaby and the gang on a wide range of materials supporting both Voces8 and the other aspects of their parent organisation Voces Cantabiles Music.

Just in time for Christmas 2008, Voces8 entered the studio to record Evensong, a CD of traditional and modern songs, including. Having worked with the choir on previous releases, we were delighted to be invited back on board for what was to be their most high profile release.

Building on the template laid down by three previous CD releases, Evensong – featuring an unmissable take on the famous Miss Marple theme – gain widespread attention and even beat the likes of Britney Spears and Eminem in the HMV pre-order chart.

Having worked with Aptronym on numerous projects in the last 4 years, I have never failed to be amazed by the ideas and creativity which are provided to clients along with excellent quality of service, highly competitive prices and the outstanding speed of response. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Aptronym and would recommend them to everyone.
